A Mercedes-Benz franchise for over 15 years, with dedicated commercial vehicle dealerships to support their customer base.
The marketing team at Intercounty Truck & Van approached us to freshen up their tired website and give it a new lease of life.
Mercedes-Benz have a very robust set of brand guidelines. It was imperative these were adhered to throughout the site build, so it was recognisable as a franchise. We used the Mercedes-Benz iconic logo, fonts and colours across the website.
A wide range of Mercedes-Benz fantastic images were used in the designs as well as bespoke icons designed by our team.
An important aspect of the new website build was to integrate an Autotrader API to the new and used van search. This meant the team would no longer need to update their van and truck listings in multiple places.
We worked closely with the team at Autotrader to set up the API and integrate to our WordPress build with an automatic cron job as well as the ability for the Intercounty team to run a manual cron job if more frequent updates are needed.
In addition to the new API integration, we custom coded a filtering system for the new and used vehicle page to allow customers to search the stock by model, type, price and year.
