Spiral Stabilization is a revolutionary exercise method invented by a Czech medical doctor. The method has proven successful in Germany for over 20 years, in effectively and permanently treating spinal disorders and disorders in the main joints. Spiral Stabilisation offers detailed information, videos and training courses as well as an e-shop.
Spiral Stabilization came to us with the need for a new website design and development to include online payment & extended functionality. Along with user account registration, the new website required ecommerce functionality, allowing users to purchase individual products in the e-shop, along with courses and certificate renewals for attending the courses.
The website was developed on WordPress, using WooCommerce to deliver the ecommerce functionality.
The site was a custom development using CBD’s in house coded WordPress framework.
Additional development within Woocommerce took place in order to deliver an online course booking system. We coded a solution in house to make use of product variations and stock management to give online booking functionality with limited availability. Additional fields were added throughout WooCommerce’s optimised checkout process in order to capture additional booking information as required.
WooCommerce subscriptions was utilized to deliver a system allowing access to video files on a subscription or single purchase basis.
We delivered the therapist lookup system using WordPress’s account and meta data system in conjunction with Google Map API to create an interactive trainer map lookup facility.

The new Spiral Stabilisation website now accurately portrays the exercise method and course information in the most visual impactful way, whilst the systems implemented on the site provide a smooth and seamless ecommerce experience and valuable membership functionality for users. More customers are now attracted to the site, due to the improved aesthetics and mobile responsive design.
